Seattle dude. I didn’t know this much water existed. The drives thus far have all been gorgeous, but I think the drive to WA was the best. I slept through the snow part which was kinda ghey. Everyone here looks like different versions of the predator. Man hair is totally celebrated. In LA i felt like a hippie but here I feel like a small child. These dudes celebrate their man-buns, artfully crafted every one different than the next. Today is kinda sunny, the last two days have been wet and miserable especially for us city boys. They dump ice in the pissers here so your piss is like laser piss. Our lunch choices yesterday were between Hot Mama’s and Dick’s. After seeing “Dick’s Beef” on the menu the decision was pretty clear. Hot Mama’s has the best pizza. The Jewel Box theater is an extremely charming, old theater. We will definitely play here again. Seattle people are hilarious in the sense that they take out their landlocked agression on walls with markers. Real life wall posts. Cold, wet bitches walk the streets. Cold dudes pretend they aren’t cold. Admitting that you’re cold here is negative a million points. We have been sleeping on floors and eating badly and have renamed our band to the traveling poopsmiths. Tony wrote a heartwrenching song which you can view below. In CA we get excited about rain but here it’s like complete emotional surrender to whatever the weather is going to be, but the air is crisp and the clouds are always changing and you really appreciate the sun. We slowed our roles into a quieter mellower set due to the intimacy of the room and it sounded great. No click track no BPMs to worry about. We played at about 8 beerPMs. People bought us rounds of pbr during our set – now that’s validating! No applause please, just beer. We have been drinking mad bloodys instead of breakfast. Writing songs about how much we love bloody actually. Were about to go to Tacoma and dick around and we heard that Seattle is built on top of an old Seattle that burnt down so we might try and go get lost down there.
