Tearin out the UT
ByDriving from Vegas to Provo Utah with the most sinful of hangovers happened.. The 15N is the devil (except at dusk it’s pretty stunning). We played a place called Muse Music in Provo Utah. Aside from having the best grilled cheese in the universe, it is also an awesome venue.. The place next door was a vintage clothing shop (also a venue). It must be nice to be a hipster here having one store that outfits the entire town. They were either intimidated by us or we smelled really fucking good, and im guessing the latter.
By the end of the show I’m sitting in awe at the fact that every band that played last night was really good at what they do. That never happens! Check out VICTORIA. They got us the show and they rip. We sold a gang of merch. No one bought the Jesus shirt cause Jesus isn’t cool here. But the I heart moonshine shirt was a hit and that’s punk as fuck cause booze isn’t allowed here either.
We left the spot in high ’spirits’. Tony’s grandpa got us a hotel room for the night. So we all got showers and some snuggle time. we ate dennys at 2 in the morning and found out that these utahian kids like to order chocolate milk and dance, really bad. our waitress was a humongous, unconvincing tranny…. that was a lil piece of home for me.
anyways, im sitting here, hotel room, 8 in the morning, ready to drive to boise and my entire recap of utah lies in a bed of warmth, with some shy, but nice people, splashed with hottie mormon broads, and cops who bust people for drinking frozen capri suns and carrying sugar and caffine packets. you’re okay with me utah, but seriously, have a fucking beer.

PS. Happy birthday Greg!
